An Experience You'll Remember

This year the Limmud Bay Area Experience will begin on Friday afternoon, continuing through Shabbat, and end on Sunday. There will be stimulating sessions in any given hour—on topics ranging from ancient texts to Jewish gangsters, from mysticism to social justice, from Israeli politics to Jewish meditation and yoga, from BDS to the environment. You'll be choosing among 100 sessions taught by the top Jewish scholars, educators, and leaders. Eat delicious food that's locally sourced and strictly kosher. Learn from renowned presenters, engage in discussion groups, express yourself in art and movement, and make new friends. All in 48 hours of phenomenal Jewish learning!

Kids (18 months and up) will have their own outstanding programming at Camp Limmud while their parents are learning. And teens will participate in special Teen Programming, as well as the adult sessions.

Limmud Bay Area starts on Friday, June 24 (registration 2-5 pm; sessions start at 3 pm) and goes till Sunday at 4 pm. Unlike most conferences, all presentations are open to all participants and no signups are required.

Donate

Here are three reasons to support Limmud Bay Area with a donation:

#1 We're an All Volunteer-run Organization

Limmud Bay Area is an independent non-profit organization, completely volunteer-run. Limmud presenters are also volunteers who are paying to attend the conference. We rely on contributions from the community to help make our conferences possible.

#2 We Attract a Diverse Audience, All Are Welcome to Participate

In an atmosphere where everyone is a teacher and a learner, the entire conference benefits when every community demographic is represented. Your contribution would make it possible for educators, students, young families, singles, and others to participate in Limmud.

#3 Your donation supports those that can't afford the cost of registration

We use a “pay-what-you-can” model when it comes to registration. Some people can afford to pay more than others. Your donated funds help those who can only afford to pay part of the registration fee to participate, present and volunteer.
